liturgical music is a "precious instrument" for praising God

Cantors and Choirs

“Singing belongs to those who love,” he recalled, citing Saint Augustine. Those who sing, he added, “give expression to love, but also to the pain, tenderness and desire that dwell in their hearts”. The Pope described music as a gift of humanity that conveys what words alone cannot express."
- Pope Leo

Our Purpose:

The Music Ministry's purpose is to lead the sung prayers at all parish liturgies, develop musically and spiritually, and sustain music ministers of all ages.

Who We Support

We support the entire parish as Masses as well as for funerals and weddings.

Volunteering & Meeting:

Hosanna, Adult Choir and Awesome Angels meet weekly during the school year season. Cantors rehearse independently. Resurrection Choir members come as they are able to funerals.  If you are interested in joining one of our choirs or cantering please contact Brian below or add your name to the Google document when you 'Sign Up Now".
