Order of Christian Initiations of Adults
OCIA, the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process by which adults learn about the Catholic Faith. It is a time of discernment before becoming a member of the Church. We begin this process in the fall and meet weekly learning various aspects of our faith. The celebration into the Church is at the Easter Vigil in the spring. Our classes are presented by various members of our parish. You will have a sponsor attending with you who will be your support and walk with you on this journey. You are free to have a practicing Catholic that you know or we have members we can provide who will be there for you.
