St. Joseph Athletic Facility is delighted to announce a partnership with Security Bank of Kansas City as our field naming partner!
Security Bank of Kansas City Field at Mirocke Stadium will be the home field for thousands of youth playing tackle and flag football, soccer, track and field and other sporting events.
The multi-year partnership includes premier brand visibility at the St. Joseph Athletic Facility, as well as video board and digital messaging for all audiences. Security Bank of Kansas City is a primary supporter of the new facility, which is undergoing a $4.2 million renovation in the heart of downtown Shawnee, KS.
"We're thrilled to partner with Security Bank of Kansas City," said Father Scott Wallisch, pastor of St. Joseph Church, which operates St. Joseph Athletic Facility. "They're committed to supporting the community, and have been a great champion of the facility's transformation."

The facility is scheduled to be completed in July 2026, with a multipurpose field for youth and community sports to be named Security Bank of Kansas City Field.
The St. Joseph Athletic Facility will be home to a variety of youth and community sports organizations, including Catholic Youth Organization (with 25+ Catholic grade schools participating), Special Olympics Kansas and Sporting KC Youth Soccer. The facility will also host sports camps and special events, as well as high school football for Division 1A and 2A schools, and community-based adult soccer teams.
About St. Joseph Athletic Facility
St. Joseph Athletic Facility is a multi-purpose youth and community sports facility that will host youth tackle and flag football, soccer, track and field, and other sports and events. The $4.2 million facility is a renovation of the former St. Joseph High School stadium on the 22-acre campus of St. Joseph Catholic Church in downtown Shawnee, KS. It will be the only multi-sport facility of its kind in the region and the hub for regional Catholic school students and other community youth and adult recreational sports. The facility was one of only 16 youth facilities in the nation to receive the prestigious NFL Foundation Grassroots Grant last year to renovate football fields and expand opportunities for youth to play sports.
